Carmignac strengthens its SRI Commitment through appointment of Justin Kew as Sustainability Manager

Carmignac announces the appointment of Justin Kew, CFA, as Sustainability Manager. Based in London, Justin reports to Sandra Crowl, Stewardship Manager and Member of the Investment Committee.

The appointment follows Carmignac’s values and commitment to continue delivering long-term and sustainable investment for its clients. With ESG integrated within the investment process for more than 90% of Carmignac’s total assets under management, including 3 SRI-labelled funds, Carmignac aims to address the clients’ needs on sustainable practices including managing energy transition through low carbon emissions and delivering overall stakeholder value in the companies it invests.

In this newly-created role, Justin will be the centre of excellence for the investment team where he is responsible for advancing the ESG investment process and framework, carrying out thematic research and designing investment solutions, including impact investment to help meet Carmignac’s clients’ long-term goals. In addition, Justin will support Carmignac’s current active engagement and industry initiatives.

Justin joins from Fidelity International, where he was a senior ESG analyst, responsible for integrating ESG data in the investment analysis and portfolio management process while designing investment process for clients. Prior to that, Justin held a role in Sustainable Investment and Product Management for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
